Whirlwind year for the Maxamation team

December caps off a hugely successful year for the team at Maxamation. The Aviator revenue management system was selected by 8 new airlines this year, extending our airline partners through Eurasia and Africa.

The Maxamation deployment team were expanded and the training staff were constantly overseas, providing new customers with expert revenue management training.  With a software freeze on between mid-December and mid-January, training staff will have the chance to return home and rest up for 2020.

Sponsors

Maxamation sponsored several international conferences during the 2nd half of 2019. The largest conference was the World Aviation Festival held in the British Design Centre in September 2019.  The Maxamation booth was ideally located and highly visible throughout the event.  Key Maxamation staff from Europe and Australia attended. This was the first opportunity for airlines to see the brand new Aviator revenue management system in action.

In China

In China, Maxamation was the conference registration sponsor for both the China Low Cost Carriers Summit and the China Airline Revenue Management Conference. Both conferences were well attended by airlines from China and around Asia. The conference had an excellent cross section of speakers from China and around the world.

The practice of revenue management is different in China and the American and European delegates were challenged at times by the different approaches taken in China.  The China Low Cost Carrier conference had a broader range of airline attendees but was an excellent summit allowing airline commercial staff from across the globe to swap experiences and discuss mutual challenges.

Maxamation Team

Maxamation was represented at both Conferences by our China based staff and staff from our head office in Sydney.  Our exhibition booths were very busy and we received great feedback for our new airline revenue management system for the Chinese market.

2020 promises to be another busy year for the Maxamation team with projects planned worldwide.
